October is here and with it brings one of our favorite seasons filled to the brim with tricks, treats and pumpkin everything! From spooky adventures to good ole’ Halloween fun – there’s nothing like a Halloween in Los Angeles! Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate.
Halloween at the Getty Drive In | Join the UICA and Celebration! Cinema for a night of spooktacular-cinematic fun at the Getty Drive in Theatre. Bring your little ones for the family friendly Trunk-or-Treat + Creature Double Feature screening of Frankenstein and Dracula. In the mood for some late-night fun, stay for the cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and do the time warp while you sing along to your favorite songs.

Boo at the Zoo | Get ready to enjoy a new breed of “boo” at the LA Zoo! Join L.A. Zoo for their series of spook-tacular events happening all month long. Explore the Zoo’s Spooky Stroll, a mysterious path of hauntingly festive décor perfect for hair-raising photo ops. Pay a visit to the Extinct Animal Graveyard and honor dearly departed species while learning more about how to help save at-risk wildlife. Pay a visit to The LAIR and come face-to-face with rare snakes, venomous lizards and poisonous frogs. Halloween Horror Nights 2021 | Halloween Horror Nights is back with a vengeance at Universal Studios Hollywood on select evenings from September 9-October 31. Face creepy creatures in sinister scare zones, indulge in outrageous live entertainment and escape to some of the park’s most exhilarating attractions. You’ll want to bring plenty of friends to share a scream with as you make your way through the terrifying mazes. Just as in horror films where the first to wander off meets a terrible fate, there’s one thing to remember at Halloween Horror Nights: Never Go Alone!
L.A. Cancer Challenge Halloween 5K Walk/Run | Looking for a festive activity where you can flex your fitness too? Look no further than the L.A. Cancer Challenge 5K Halloween 2021 Walk/Run. Pair your favorite running kicks with a costume and run/walk your way around the 5K course on the UCLA campus. Show off you’re most thrilling or fantastical costume in the LACC Costume Contest and stay after the race to enjoy the Candy Land Kids Zone, a magical experience complete with Halloween crafts, snacks, face painting and photo-ops perfect for kids of all ages.
